Just found a new cure for Migraine,


Having a bad Migraine I called my dentist to cancel an Appointment for that day, but she told me, it would take two months, to become a new appointment. So I went there, being scared, cause I knew, she would pull one of my teeth to create room for a bridge.
She injected painkiller locally and pulled the wicked toot. Took her almost an hour to get it removed. Pain flooded my brain and inside of me I was begging for mercy. Finally she proudly presented the wicked tooth and told me I had been very brave.
The Migraine was gone.
So, my advice: If you ever have a migraine, just go to your dentist and let him pull a tooth. It’s a sure cure.
Since I get a lot of migraines I am wondering if I still have enough teeth to go that way?

Too bad, they already selectet someone for thr housesitting. So i'll have to do it the hard way -I guess. Was a nice dream though

Just got a lead to an offer to stay for 2 months on the Island of Mallorca to do house-sitting for a couple that lives there on an finca. Of course I applied rightaway and now I am hoping to be able to stay Jan+Febr 08 on this beautifull island. This would give me a good chance to checkout if it's a good place to move to.

Well, just got invited to a Texas all in poker tournament in Hannover. Didn’t do so well last time, but you never know how the cards fall. Sounds like a lot of fun though for an old retired maverick. :

Started this blog to force myself to keep up on the command of English language, and to give all my relatives and friends in the kidnapped country of U.S. a chance to keep up on my life.
Don’t worry, there is more to come.
At this time I have stopped all my travelling plans to get some new teeth, two new hearing aids and try to get me to start working again on some of my books, which I haven’t done in some time. Guess I lost my motivations for a while and am now trying to get that fixed. Sorry, the books I am working on are written in German, which is my native tongue.
Also I am taking evening classes in creative writing and Spanish. Let’s wait and see if I can get the energy to keep it up.
I plan to try my luck in the near future, by writing some short things in English and see if I can cope with that.
Might be I’ll be travelling to the US again 2008 sometime, but the retirement checks are a lot less, than what I used to get for working and I will have to see if that permits me to travel a lot.
